I’ve been involved in athletics and recruiting my entire professional career. As a Division II and III soccer coach, recruiting was 90% of my job. Finding not only the right athlete, but the right student and person is critical for a coach. Understanding students’ passions and getting to know them outside of sport was my favorite part of the job. Being around good people was the foundation of my recruiting approach; if I can work with a good person, I can teach them soccer.

After my college coaching career, I worked directly with students and families in navigating the recruiting process with NCSA. At the end of the day, there is a place for every athlete, and there are a wide range of experiences. When an athlete truly knows what they want, divisions or level of play doesn’t matter. My goal is for every student and family, at the end of the recruiting process, is for them to say: Everything fits, No Regrets, Let’s Go!

When I’m not working, I love spending time with family and friends. I enjoy the outdoors and live music, and genuinely try to be a good example for my wife and kids.

From the age of 8, when I had my first organized soccer practice, sports have been an integral part of my life. Growing up I participated in soccer, basketball, track and field, wrestling and football. I received a football scholarship from Olivet Nazarene University where I played outside linebacker and special teams. I also double majored in Athletic Training and Exercise Science. I continued my education at McKendree University where I got my Master of Business Administration and worked as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for Women’s Hockey, Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving and Men’s and Women’s Water Polo teams. Since then, I have worked as a PRN Athletic Trainer for many different sports at the adolescent, high school and collegiate levels including Hockey, Baseball, Volleyball, Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Men’s and Women’s Soccer, Wrestling, Women’s Lacrosse, Track and Field, and Football. I also have gained experience as a recruiter from my job with Gateway Clinical Trials where I help connect patients with different clinical studies.

As a Talent Scout Recruiter at CSR I am able to combine my knowledge and passion for sports with my experience as a recruiter. I look forward to helping athletes continue to pursue their passion for sports by connecting them to college coaches. I understand how valuable it can be to participate in athletics while continuing your education at the collegiate level.

I came to CSR after 30 years of teaching and coaching at the high school level in St. Louis, Missouri. I coached both boys and girls track and field at Mehlville and Oakville High schools for 28 years. I have also coached both boys and girls basketball at Mehlville, Hancock and Centralia high schools in Missouri for a total of 25 years.

Over my many years of coaching, I have always enjoyed assisting my student athletes who wanted to play in college reach that goal. And I honestly wish that I had a program like CSR when I first started coaching. I truly believe it can be a game changer for athletes who want to move on to the next level.

I have enjoyed working with high school athletes and look forward to continue helping athletes reach their dreams and attain their goals.

I am dedicated to helping athletes at all levels to reach their sports dreams and goals.  My experience as an NCAA baseball athlete was one I will never regret.  Not only the success I experienced between the lines as an All Conference and All American candidate but the entire educational experience that prepared me for life and a successful career after graduation.   While I still hold an NCAA record and will always be proud of the awards I received as a player, the accomplishments I am most proud of are the many young athletes I have coached to successful sports careers and more importantly successful adult lives.

Now retired from playing and coaching I’m assisting families in the area of recruiting.  Recruiting should be a fun, enjoyable, worthwhile endeavor and that is exactly what we strive for here at CSR. I have seen firsthand the impact CSR has on families lives and love it when an athlete tackles the recruiting process with confidence and passion.  Recruiting is not an easy journey, however; many times, this is the result of simply not knowing how to get started.

Once an athlete understands this process, confidence builds, and dreams start to become reality. There is no doubt a place for every athlete if they are willing to put in the work to get recruited. Whether it’s coaching or mentoring, helping others will always be the common denominator in my life.

Ever since I was a kid, playing sports has always been a passion of mine. I always loved the energy and emotion it took to play at a high level. As a kid, I played baseball, basketball, and soccer. When I started high school, I realized I needed to focus on one sport in order to achieve my dream of playing in college. It was at this point I decided to focus on playing soccer at the highest level I possibly could. I always enjoyed playing soccer more than any other sport and dreamed of playing soccer in college or at an even higher level. While in high school, I played at St. Louis Scott Gallagher on their Development Academy team and traveled all around the United States playing the best teams in the country. Even though I played at a high level, I still had difficulties getting recruited to play at a college that had both my athletic and academic pursuits.

I was fortunate enough to get recruited to play at Maryville University for my collegiate career. While there, I got a degree in both Graphic Design and Business Administration all while getting to play the sport I loved most.  The experiences I had during my collegiate career are the sole reason as to why I want every young athlete to be able to experience what I did. Athletics is a great way to develop lifelong skills such as leadership, communication, and dedication. The skills and lessons I learned during my collegiate career increased my desire to help other athletes achieve the same.

This is why I decided to join the team at CSR and help young athletes fulfill their dreams. I experienced the difficulties of recruitment and am excited to help make the process easier for both the athlete and their family.

All my life I grew up playing Hockey, Baseball and Soccer. I got the opportunity to play both Varsity Hockey and Baseball for my high school all four years. After high school I got a scholarship to further my baseball career at Northeastern Oklahoma AM (NJCAA). After JUCO I went on to play at Missouri Baptist University. At MoBap I lead the Spartans to the NAIA World Series and received a Gold Glove Award as a catcher. After Missouri Baptist I got the opportunity to play a year of professional baseball with the Gateway Grizzlies in Sauget Illinois.

After my baseball career ended, I went back to my roots and took an assistant coaching job at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College. I spent three years there then decided to come back home to St. Louis and coach baseball at my alma mater St. John Vianney High School. I also coach in the summer with the US Nationals U18 where we had 13/15 guys all go to power five schools. We ended up winning the U18 WWBA National Tournament in 2020.

As a Talent Scout Recruiter at CSR I am able to combine my knowledge and passion for high school and college sports. I love being able to help young athletes build their exposure nationwide with good fit college programs and help them achieve their dreams of playing a sport in college. In the world of sports today it is essential that these athletes have a platform that allows them to network with college coaches from all around the United States.

I appreciate the value of an athletic scholarship. Having come from a middle-class family with 6 kids, my parents found it hard to make ends meet and couldn’t pay for college. Playing sports all year round since the age of 6, I struggled to save for college.  Without an athletic scholarship I would never have had the opportunity to earn a four-year degree making it possible to pursue my goals and dreams.

Even though I played every sport imaginable playing on little leagues, club teams, junior high and varsity teams participating  in tournaments and playoffs, winning championships and trophies, I lacked the exposure necessary to get noticed by college recruiters out of high school. So, I had to sit out a year to work and save enough money for a two year degree.

Upon entering college I tried out for the football team as a “walk on.” The coaches selected me immediately to be on the team and asked where I came from. They wondered why they didn’t recruit me out of high school. The next year I earned a full scholarship, and four years later a Bachelor of Science degree that allowed me enter into my desired career field.

Since college, I have enjoyed coaching kids from little league to varsity high school sports. Throughout the years, our teams have won championships, junior high playoffs, and high school national tournaments. As a varsity coach I have watched year-after-year a third of our team on average, earn scholarships to play in college. I have enjoyed helping athletes mature and grow in character, as well as in their athletic abilities.

My goal is to help more young athletes showcase their talents and help them get the exposure needed to pursue and fulfill their future goals and dreams.

Currently, I hold multiple roles as an Assistant Coach for Westover High School, a Pro Basketball Scout for Infinite Sports Group, a Pro Basketball Scout/Administrative Assistant for Chris Smoot, and a Talent Scout Recruiter here at CSR.

Graduating from North Carolina A&T State University with a degree in Management Information Systems, I’ve been able to combine my love for sports with my technological expertise. Sports have always been my passion. Throughout my career, I’ve completed over 30+ scouting reports and I take great pride in knowing that my scouting reports have made a difference in players’ lives. By leveraging my expertise, players like Jordan Miller, Sam Daniel, Landon Kirkwood, and Phillip Flory have secured NBA/G League contracts for this season.

My journey led me to CSR with a clear purpose—to help young, talented athletes extend their playing careers beyond high school. I understand the challenges that arise for players with minimal resources and limited support, who often lack someone willing to go the extra mile to help them become successful college athletes. CSR provides these players with an opportunity to receive a valuable education based on their talents.

I am wholeheartedly committed to making a difference in the lives of these athletes. Together, we can unlock their full potential and create a pathway to success, not just on the court, but also in their educational pursuits. Join me at CSR, and let’s embark on this transformative journey together.

I came to CSR after working with children for 27 years. I have been coaching select level fastpitch softball for over 5 years now, and I know how important the recruiting aspect to this game is for every athlete looking to make it at the next level and play in college. I graduated from Lafayette high school in St. Louis MO, where I played Lacrosse for 4 years, then coached for a few years after graduating.  Helping student athletes become better people, and teaching them new skills in life is a passion of mine.  Seeing an athlete achieve goals on and off the field is something I take great passion in doing for others.

As I continue coaching, I always enjoy seeing the excitement of the girls I coach as they watch and see other girl athletes making an impact in the sporting world today.  Seeing the way girls’ sports have grown, I want to be able to assist and help provide this information to all athletes looking to go further.  Honestly as a parent myself, I’m glad CSR is able to help me, and my daughters connect with college coaches, and offer firsthand advice on how to continue a dream of playing sports in college.  I truly believe CSR can be a game changer for athletes who want to move on to the next level. I enjoy working with student athletes and look forward to continuing to help athletes reach their dreams and attain their goals.

Playing and coaching sports has always been a part of my life and I am thrilled to have the chance to help young student athletes and their families have the chance to attend the school of their dreams and play a sport at the college level. I have been fortunate to have success as a player and coach at both the high school and college levels. Working as a Talent Scout Recruiter here at CSR gives me the ability to help others have the same experiences and opportunities I was given.

Having played collegiate basketball at Montclair State University and coached at Stevens Institute of Technology in New Jersey, I have seen firsthand how the recruiting process works from both sides. The recruitment of student athletes can lead in many directions, and CSR gives student athletes and their families a much easier path to navigate the process. Transitioning from a player to a coach made me realize how much helping others was a passion of mine and CSR has given me a new avenue to provide service and guidance. Let’s work together to make sure your academic and collegiate playing experience is as positive as can be!

As a former athlete, I understand the importance of establishing connections and finding opportunities to showcase your skills. That’s why I’m here as a dedicated sports recruiter to help you navigate the college recruitment process and connect you with the right opportunities.

Growing up in a small town, I was passionate about football and basketball.  However, I quickly realized that the path to college athletics was not as straightforward for athletes like us. Limited exposure to college coaches meant that we had to take matters into our own hands and actively seek out opportunities. I immersed myself in the world of college recruitment, learning the ins and outs of the process.

Now, as a sports recruiter, my mission is to level the playing field for athletes like you. I am committed to helping you showcase your talent and connect with college coaches who are eager to discover new prospects. I bring firsthand knowledge of the challenges you may face, along with a deep understanding of what college coaches are looking for in prospective athletes.

I grew up in North Carolina playing soccer since I was 3 at many levels including ECNL and formerly the Developmental Academy. Each level of soccer has its own unique experience which, for me, culminated into playing college soccer for the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy and combining my goals of playing college soccer with a specific educational curriculum. As my passion for soccer grew with my goal of playing at the collegiate level, I knew I had to have college coaches know who I was. I quickly discovered the pathway to getting a college coach to recruit you and ultimately receive an offer to play college sports is confusing to players and parents, and thats why CSR exists.

As a current athlete, I know how hard it can be to chase your dreams. That is why I am excited to join CSR in helping athletes take their careers further and make their dreams come true. This platform is a true game changer and makes the process of recruitment straightforward and exciting. Let us make your dreams come true and join us at CSR!

Born and raised in St. Louis, MO. I have played sports my entire life, soccer being my main focus as I got older. I played club soccer for several clubs growing up including Kolping Kicks, JB Marine, and Kutis. I went on to play at St. John Vianney High School for my dad, which was an incredible experience. Not everyone gets that opportunity. I was very fortunate to have learned (and continue to learn) so much from him as a player and now as a coach.

After playing college soccer at Regis University in Denver and Webster University in St. Louis, I decided to get into coaching. I started my coaching career at Cor Jesu Academy (with my dad) and Clayton High School. I stayed at both schools about 7 seasons, then took a year off and now I coach at St. Joseph’s Academy. Coaching soccer has been one of the best things I have ever done. Being given the opportunity to teach these kids everything that I learned about soccer (and life) is really an amazing thing to be able to do.

Now with CSR, I am able to help even more kids by getting them more engaged with recruiting and sitting down with them and their families to come up with a plan on how to get into the desired schools to play whatever sport that they want to play. What CSR is doing for recruiting, is already and will continue to change the game. I really wish something like this was around when I was playing soccer in high school so I could have been presented with even more college opportunities.

Athletics have always played an integral part in my life. From an early age, I began to dream of playing soccer at the highest level. As I neared the end of my high school career, however, I found the college recruitment process to be intimidating, confusing, and filled with anxiety. If it hadn’t been for the guidance of a few knowledgeable and caring people in my life, I would have missed out on my dream. I’m grateful that I get to work with a team of individuals at CSR that have simplified the college recruiting process, and possess the skills necessary to help the next generation of athletes realize their dreams.

Since completing my college soccer career at Maryville University, I’ve spent the last eight years teaching and coaching at the high school level. During this time I’ve had the privilege of mentoring young athletes and guiding them to continue their educational and athletic careers all across the United States. As a CSR Talent Scout Recruiter, I strive to simplify the college recruiting process for athletes and their families; offering myself as a dedicated, transparent, and knowledgeable ally.
